Summary
The youngest of all the Weiß Members. Its been criticized that he doesn't look seventeen (HE LOOKS 11!) and he has even been mistaken to be a girl (I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU CALL MY LOVELY LIL OMI A GIRL!!!!) but who could resist that adorable face!! Out of all the Weiß Kreuz boys, Omi has the worst past and I think that only makes him more likable (You have to feel sorry for the poor lil guy!). For such a young kid, Omi has a pretty messed up life and family. Major problems about his life? He was kidnapped when he was just a little boy, his father never paid his ransom, he was abandoned by his father, his father is not even his real father, almost his entire family is messed up and a bunch of other stuff that will occur in the TV series.
He's a bright, cheerful and sweet boy, often giving flowers out to cheer up his friends. In a cute way, he got chosen by a rich schoolgirl to be chased after. This rich and annoying girl,(I am not the only one who says so) Ouka Takatori, has a surprising connection to Omi that we find out later. (I WON'T TELL YET!) She is always buying flowers for Omi, which gives Yohji a chance to tease the poor kid. (LEAVE OMI ALONE YOHJI!)

Daily Life: Omi is the only member who is still a high school student. He is also an employee at the neighborhood flower shop when he is not out on a mission. Through juggling time as a student, assassin, and flower shop employee things can get quite busy for this seventeen year old. He earns his own money and lives by himself, or you could say he lives with the other Weiß guys. He is an assassin at night, who uses a bow with arrows, darts or a cross bow and is the ultimate computer hacker when you need some info to be erased. On missions, Omi is the one who is relied on to find target locations, dates and various other information online. So as you can see he's quite a busy kid.
Omi is an orphan, that is the reason to why he is living on his own. For some reason he has lost his memory and does not know who his parents are or what happened in the past. Compared to the other guys he is the most responsible and organized, and does most of the technical stuff. He's also very smart since he's the one who works with the computer and technical stuff. Ironic, but his knowledge and talents is what makes him essential to the group and special. |
Kidnapping: Omi's past is first brought up in one episode where he meets and saves a young boy. The boy was a kidnapped victim, and when Youji mentioned that it could have been a kidnapping, Omi started to remember memories he had forgotten long ago. Bothered by the traumatizing memories, Omi tries to figure out where the other kidnapped kids were held and attempts to solve the mission given to them. In the process of solving the case and rescuing the boy after being kidnapped again, Omi's memories which had been buried ever since Persia had him join Weiß, resurfaced in full force. A series of flashbacks showed Omi as a young boy, about ten, when he was kidnapped. His father refused to pay the ransom despite the fact that the family was wealthy, so the young boy was abandoned to die. However, he was rescued by Persia, given the name Omi Tsukiyono, and raised to be an assassin. In doing so, he is considered to be the founding member of Weiß. At the time Omi was rescued, Persia didn't know himself that this boy was actually his son. Devastated that his 'father' (Reiji) had abandoned him, Omi grew up to subconsciously repress his childhood memories, until he eventually forgot all of it.
Omi's Family:
Brothers: After Omi discovers that he is the youngest son of Reiji Takatori, he is confronted by Hirofumi Takatori, the oldest brother. Hirofumi seemed like a caring brother at first but then he started demanding to know who was trying to kill him. Both Omi's 'brothers' turned up to be total jerks. The first brother that was killed, Masafumi, relied on a group of women (or girls) to protect him. Hirofumi also relied on someone to protected him and managed to run away several times to save his own life. When he couldn't get the information he wanted from Omi, he had Schuldich deal with the boy. Omi was caught and then tortured by Hirofumi (I'M GONNA KILL YA HIROFUMI!!! Wait...Omi does that for me n.n), but Omi did not give in to him. His friends came to rescue him when he finally choose the right side to take and Omi finishes off his brother. He is not Mamoru Takatori, he is Omi Tsukiyono.
Aya: Aya's main goal was to kill Reiji Takatori, the one who placed his sister in a coma and killed his parents. He was shocked when he discovered that Reiji was Omi's father but that was not going to stop him from getting revenge. Aya had the idea that something was wrong but said nothing. It seems like Aya went cold on Omi but if he had really wanted to kill Reiji's youngest son he could have done it easily. In the end, Aya really does not hate Omi and in a subtle way, cares about him.
Ouka: The girl we see following Omi around all the time, Ouka Takatori, turns up to be Omi's half sister, or so at least he thinks she's his half sister. He almost ended up with his half sister!!! Actually he almost ended up with his cousin!!! (Poor Omi!') Since Persia is actually Omi's father and Reiji is Ouka's father (Persia and Reiji are brothers) and different mothers, that would make them cousins. Around the middle of the series, Ouka finds out that Omi is her half brother and gets caught up in the whole mess. Omi grows to really like her and when they find out they are related, Omi is even more happy that he has a half-sister. But sadly, Ouka is suddenly shot by one of the Schwarz members when they go to save her and she dies in Omi's arms (I hate Ouka and I'm glad she dies yet....I fell bad because he had to suffer.)
Persia: Weiß's boss, Persia (or Shuuichi Takatori, HE HAS SHUUICHI SHINDOU'S NAME!!!!! XD), was the one who gave Omi the name Omi Tsukiyono and a new life. He intended to have Reiji's own son stop his organization and kill him but, in reality Omi was not Reiji's son. Omi's real father was Persia. Omi refers to him as his uncle but never finds out that Persia is his real father. Persia finds out that Omi is actually his son, not Reiji's, when he tries to kill Reiji himself. He trained his own son to be an assassin with out even knowing it! Finding that out, he dies not telling Omi the truth probably because he did not want Omi to know that his own father had raised him to be a killer.
Mother: Omi's mother is Reiji's wife, Kikuno, but Omi's father is Persia. From what we know, Kikuno did not want to marry Reiji. She and Shuuichi were in love with each other but Kikuno did not have a choice and had to marry Reiji. Years past, Reiji and Kikuno had two sons, Hirofumi and Masafumi. Soon, Mamoru came ( Omi) but Mamoru was not Reiji's son. Despite that Reiji knew this, he kept the boy in the family for the first few years his young life. At around age ten, Mamoru is kidnapped. Seeing that the boy is not his own son and hating his brother, Shuuichi for having an affair with his wife, he abandons the boy. Soon after loosing her youngest son, Kikuno, kills herself.
